Parent and family therapist Washington state

FAQs about parent-child relationship therapy

What ages do you work with?

I offer connection-based parenting therapy and support to families with children ages 2 - 9. I also provide individual therapy to parents with children of any age.

Do you work with couples?

I do not provide couples therapy at this time. Addressing your family concerns in therapy can often be helpful to improving couple relationships.

When do you schedule sessions?

Appointments are Monday through Friday and are scheduled between 9-3:30 pm. I do not have weekend appointments or evening time slots at this time.  If you need a specific time, please note that on the contact form or when you call to schedule your free 20-minute consultation.

How long are therapy sessions?

Our first appointment, or intake session, is 60 minutes long. After that, regular appointments are 50 minutes. The first appointment is a little longer, so we can begin to get to know each other and determine whether we are a good fit for one another.

Where are sessions held?

At this time, I am providing online therapy services for parents in Seattle and throughout Washington state.

Do you accept insurance?

I am considered an "out of network" provider for insurance plans. To find out if your insurance company provides out of network benefits for mental health, please speak directly with your insurance provider. I can provide you with superbills, if you wish, to submit to your insurance provider for partial reimbursement.

How much do you charge?

A parenting therapy session is $175, and payment is due at the time of service. Appointments canceled with less than 24-hour notice will be charged in full.

How do I get in touch with you?

The easiest way to reach me is by scheduling a free consultation on my online calendar, calling 661-459-1385, or by filling out the contact form.
